NABADWIP DAILY TOUR
Nabadwip (meaning “nine islands”) is a sacred pilgrimage site in West Bengal, India, representing the nine islands of Navadvipa Dhama that symbolize the nine processes of devotional service (navadha-bhakti) in Gaudiya Vaishnavism. Traditionally visited during the annual parikrama or you can planed with us on any day, the nine islands are:
- Antardvipa (Shri Mayapur): Represents surrender (sharanagati).
- Simantadvipa: Represents hearing (shravanam).
- Godrumadvipa: Represents chanting (kirtanam).
- Madhyadvipa: Represents remembering (smaranam).
- Koladvipa: Represents serving the feet (pada-sevanam).
- Ritudvipa: Represents worshiping (archanam).
- Jahnudvipa: Represents praying (vandanam).
- Modadrumadvipa: Represents serving (dasyam).
- Rudradvipa: Represents friendship (sakhyam).

Antardvipa (Shri Mayapur):Located in the center, this is the main hub, often identified as the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Simantadvipa:Associated with Parvati (wife of Lord Shiva) hearing the glories of the Lord here, it is linked to the devotional process of hearing.

Godrumadvipa:The place where Lord Nityananda established the congregational chanting (kirtan) of the holy names.

Madhyadvipa:Dedicated to remembering the Lord, it is also known for its association with the sage Vyasadeva.

Koladvipa:Also known as Aparadha-bhanjan, a place for liberation from offenses. It is associated with service to the lotus feet of the Lord.

Ritudvipa:A place for worshiping and seeking the grace of the Lord, sometimes associated with the saintly King Ritudvipa.

Jahnudvipa:Associated with the sage Jahnu Muni, it is the place for offering prayers.

Modadrumadvipa:Associated with Rama and Sita, and the mood of servitude.

Rudradvipa:The island where Lord Shiva engaged in chanting the holy names to gain love for God, representing friendship.
The Nine Islands form a lotus-shaped, roughly 32-square-mile area surrounded by branches of the Ganges. They are a major site for ISKCON and other Vaishnava traditions.
